Me

This is the personal website of Elon Litman

Steam engines powered the industrial revolution before thermodynamics. Airplanes flew before aerodynamics. Vaccines were administered before immunology was even a field. Every scientific revolution begins with empirical discoveries, and only later earns its laws. AI is no different.

I'm currently a researcher at Stanford University working at the Ermon Group. My interests include deep learning theory and its applications vis-à-vis generalization dynamics, optimal transport, and operationalizing architectures that minimize Free Energy (FEP) and Algorithmic Information Theoretic (AIT) objectives. Sometimes I'll opine on molecular psychiatry or random matrices.

You may recognize me from my 3D Desmos art or my ancient Hebrew programming language.
